Engage with ACPA18 Attendees and Interview Candidates in Career Central
Our goal is to connect with every member of the ACPA community, no matter their position, experience, or level within the field. Making career development and advancement the primary focus of Career Central at ACPA18, we are embracing the belief that as professionals, we must commit to growing at every point in our careers—not just as graduate students and new professionals.
ACPA will maintain the Career Central online job posting board, so you can continue to post position announcements and search for your ideal candidate through hundreds of qualified candidate resumes and profiles at any given time. We encourage employers to utilize this platform to identify potential candidates prior to attending Convention. Candidates, be sure to set up your job seeker profile!
There will also be a designated physical space on-site within Career Central to post information and promote current and future career opportunities. In alignment with our commitment to ACPA’s Strategic Imperative for Racial Justice and Decolonization, we ask that employers sharing career opportunities include the salary range for any positions posted.
We know that ACPA18 provides an opportunity for employers to engage with prospective candidates in-person, and we hope to create an environment and facilitate processes and programs that make it easier than ever to promote opportunities, share information, network, and complete on-site interviews.
Reserve an Employer Table in Career Central
Within Career Central, there will be a designated room for registered employers at ACPA18 to reserve one or more tables to interact with prospective candidates. Employers may use the tables for information sessions, discussions with candidates about anticipated openings, and for on-site candidate interviews.

Once you have reserved your space, you will receive an email confirmation. Any changes to the number of tables requested and/or dates tables are reserved can be modified until 7 March 2018. Space will be available at the following days and times:
- Sunday, 11 March, from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, in GRB Convention Center, Room 310 C
- Monday, 12 March, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, in GRB Convention Center, Room 310 C
- Tuesday, 13 March, from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM, in GRB Convention Center, Room 310 C
An Important Note for Employers: All scheduling and communication with prospective candidates should come directly from employers to candidates. Any employer inquiries regarding reserving space can be directed to Tara Milliken.
